Mechanical engineer sells in Morgan Hill

Douglas Kotval and his wife, Nancy, sold a three-bath home at 17097 Ascot Court in Morgan Hill for $970,000 to Randal and Katherine Stark on Sept. 12.
The Kotvals paid $400,000 for the property in Oct. 1990. The 2,539-square-foot house was built the same year.
Mr. Kotval is a mechanical engineer. He currently works as a contracts manager for Loral Space & Communications, a satellite communications company with an office in Palo Alto.
He graduated from San Jose State University.
